Covering Czech

Czech Republic was my first Eastern European country and I will always cherish the memories attached to it. From exploring Brno unexpectedly to scaling the Prague Castle in Prague and relaxing in Vysehrad Fortress, I loved every bit of my trip. Prague Castle entrance lane Brno, being a small city has very little to offer compared to Prague but one cannot dismiss this beautiful hamlet just because of that. I found that branded products are cheaper in Brno than in Prague, and affordable in Prague than in western European countries.  St Thomas Church, Brno Prague on the other hand was full of heritage sites, old buildings, beautiful Cathedrals, picturesque river in the skyline. The Charles Bridge is one of my favourite spots to chill out, next only to Vysehrad Fortress garden. 1. Scale the Prague Castle This is the largest castle complex in the world encompassing major tourist sites in itself. Once home to Bohemia's Kings, this is now where the President presides over, as it is the official residence and office of Czech Republic's President. The Castle walls protect the gothic St Vitus Cathedral. One can enjoy the vast Baroque style architecture by wandering within the walls of the castle, relaxing in the royal gardens, witnessing the insides of the cathedral.
