In 2016, during the offset of winter, we hiked in Mullerthal with our friends. We did not cover the entire trail but we enjoyed
the scenery just as much. No matter
how many visits we make to this place, it's never enough to surround ourselves by chill breeze and green trees.
After seeing the photos, you will know that is not called Little Switzerland for no reason.

Small waterfalls at the start of the hike |

Just a few yards away from parking lot

Chilling on the rock in front of the falls, before we hike further |
|
The rhythm of water flowing along the trail rings in your ears long after the hike |

Clicked this scene to freeze it in time, for it looks like a desktop screensaver coming alive. |

Catching up with his friend, my husband (on the right) walking down the lane |

Me bonding with his wife |

Hunting ground that I glimpsed upon before we turned back home |

We chose the slippery slope on our way back |

Dense forests making home for foxes and wolves on the other side of the road.

Needless to say, this place is ideal for picnic, hiking on a regular basis, exercise to body and mind-relaxing, all at the same time.

ReplyDeleteWonderful and Blissful
ReplyDeleteWow, what a nice place. Genrally in winter, leaf breakdown from the three, yet nature ever look beautyful and give us peace.
